Cowl Neck Top (Pattern Testing for Deby @ SoSewEasy)

You’ll love this  wonderful cowl neck top drafted from Deby at So Sew Easy,  one more pattern testing I’ve done some times ago!

Cowl Neck Top

It’s a really easy jersey top with 3 sleeves length options: sleeveless, short sleeves and long sleeves (I chose the third option, lengthening one bit just because I love sleeves that goes over the wrist!)

I was between sizes, so I had to decide if go up or down… and I luckily went downsize, with a nice snug fit that I really like!

Other change I’ve made to this pattern, was to add length on the bottom hem (left raw, since jersey doesn’t fray), to have a lower than hips length, nearly a mini dress.

I’d really like sewing one more of this tops, using the sleeveless version, making it longer and, maybe, A-line: it could be the best swimsuit cover-ever, for this summertime 😉

You can find Deby’s pattern here on Craftsy!

I really enjoyed testing this pattern: a fast and really easy task, instructions were clear and you can always take a look to Deby’s video for an additional help.

I love this top! and it looks awesome on you. I kind of like long tops like that/ like them to cover my hips! And I also love the fabric! Great job! XOXO and Love!

      Thanks Cami!
I tend to cover my hips, it’s maybe the part of my body I hate more… I love this fabric, I’ve made a pair of leggings from my daughter with a different color combo (black and blue) for my daughter!

    Some thoughts:

    1. I love this pattern; Debi has done it again!
    2. I love it when photos of you make it to the blog. Your dramatic poses always make me giggle. (In a good way!)
    3. I think you’re the cutest when you smile and your dimples show.
    4. I bet Italian women eat pasta all day and still look like you. I’m a little mad about that.

      Hi sweetie 🙂
I’m always happy when I read your comments, tx for liking my (silly) poses 🙂
I agree with points 1, 2 and 3, but about n°4 I have to say that I’m a Paleo eater (no grains-no sugar); if I eat pasta, I immediately catch 3 Kg (I know it because I’ve lost 15 Kg after the pregnancy, just stopping eating pasta, bread and pizza)
