Everyday Tank: Top & Dresses NEW PATTERN release day!

  • Serger Pepper - Everyday Tank - excerpt instructions

I am really proud to announce today my 5th PDf pattern release:

Everyday Tank: Top & Dresses!

As you know, I love to create practical patterns, for everyday’s life and, after my Basic Leggings and Big Girl Briefs, what’s better than a tank pattern?

This is what I thought when I started designing this pattern.

But, while I was working on the top version (that is our Everyday Underwear Tank, by the way) I found myself cutting it longer and with a little flaire… and then longer again: the midi and maxi dresses were born!

My daughter loves her new dresses, they’ve been a staple on this summer sea vacation: swimcover, evening dress, layered over leggings and a polo for the colder evenings… she was always wearing them!

But let’s see which feature are included in this pattern:

  • three length options: Top, midi dress, Maxi dress (actually, it’s a 3-in-1 pattern!)
  • optional in-seam pockets (with detailed step-by-step tutorial)
  • stop wasting ink and paper: print size-by-size!
  • option for printing only pages you need (depending on your option and size)

Would you like to see some versions from my lovely testers from The Crew? This is my favorite part in creating patterns: seeing how other sewists put together different fabrics, play with length, hems and bindings using my patterns!
I have to say that this time  the girls really had fun: refashions, lace, layerings, contrasting (popping) colors on pockets… We’ve seen everything and more!

Here’s Melissa @ Rebel and Malice showing us a sisters set: midi dress and top (read her blog post here): she said: “Melissa love the ease and funkiness you can do with this pattern”

And Mariana @ MaryallMade, that says the Everyday Tank is perfect for transitioning into the fall; her daughter is wearing her Everyday Midi Dress over capri leggings with a denim jacket… and a white flower on the hairs… the girl knows her stuff 😉

Here’s Jessica’s creation: her daughter was so lucky to have a butterfly top (with a matching tutu that I can’t show my daughter, or I know what my next project will be…) AND a refashioned STAR WARS minidress… can I have one in my size, please? What? You don’t have size 12XL STAR WARS T-shirts? Pffff!

Hey Jess! What do you think about this pattern?

“This is a fantastic pattern, true to the name, it will be something my daughter will want to wear everyday. Easy to pull together, easy to dress it up with some lace, easy to color block – lots of options.”

And, from left to right: Carmen Statham flower midi dress, Diane @ TwoChicklets top version, with matching shorts and Elizabeth @ OliveAshby.

Here’s what Diane said: “This was a super easy and fast top to make with options for dresses too! It would be cute made in stretch lace or with ruffle trim, and of course, made from a favorite old t-shirt too”

And Elizabeth:”I’s a wonderful pattern that I am encouraged to customize with fabric options on the side panels and binding. Looking forward to making several more!”

Tomorrow and the following days, I’ll be sharing some more versions from my adorable testers: y0ou can’t miss them!
