OneCardigan for One Thimble: my gift to you!

Let me show you some more OneCardigans from my lovely testers. And let me add that I’ve been so lucky to find such wonderful women from all over the world, each one reading this pattern in her own personal way.

This is partially because of the versatile nature of the pattern and probably the huge size range helped too… and some of them were intrigued by the refashion suggestions I included, as usual, on this pattern.

When I asked them to play with this pattern, becoming the designers, they were happy to start choosing fabrics, layering, gathering old sweaters (some shopping in their closets, others planning a trip to the thrifty shop)

Diane said: “When I first saw this, I knew I just HAD to test for you! I knew it would be the right look for my daughter when I saw the style and she loves it and thinks the hood is “glorious” (her word)! I can’t wait to have time to make one for me now!

I lined the petals connecting them with a double needle stitch and leaving the raw edges and I’m thrilled with how that turned out! The embroidery design is from UrbanThreads.com, and I used webbing and buckle instead of belt.”

My littlegirl loves the fantasy feel of the design and the feminine petal skirt – twirling is very important when your are four! I will be making more of these for her Kindergarten clothing!”
